Two items including a Dogon granary door lock, central Mali, early 20th century, having incised and painted decoration on the latch, the handle a carved female fertility symbol, the lock having original hand forged nails securing it to the stand; as well as a chip carved “barshin” or “barkin” wooden headrest having fine cut swirl banding down the sides, east Africa, Boni or Somali tribe

Condition: Very Good to Good, both items showing appropriate wear for age and use; both having chips, painting faded and scratching
