Eighteen tribal items, mostly Asian and African, including a fabric and bead decorated woven container, Inuit sweet grass basket, African coiled bowl on a low foot having edges bound in leather and cowrie shell attachments, coiled lidded pedestal bowl, coiled storage baskets and trays, splint basket having leather elements and finish on the rim, three nesting Filipino bamboo baskets, two twined African examples and a Zulu telephone wire basket; together with a New Guinea Carved Decorative Assortment, five items including two painted wood masks, a stone bird, a painted wood and woven offering vessel and a male wood figure

Condition: Very Good, occasional pulled or split stitches; one basket having torn and missing leather strapping; a mask having loose nose ornament; a mask having sections of missing shell ornamentation; a mask having missing horn; bird having chips and flaking paint; offering vessel having cracks in face, chips and cracks to legs, missing feathers and possible missing ear ornamentation; male wood figure having repaired break to center swirl and bottom hook, scuffs and chips with areas of paint loss overall
