(4) items including an alphabet having the signs of the cross, signed and dated 1813, silk thread on linen, made by Lucia Porcelli, conservation cleaned and framed; a signed and dated 1822 alphabet having house, floral motif, animals, birds and trees, matted and professionally framed; a small alphabet, signed and dated 1862, having a photo of the stitcher included in the framing; and an example of a mourning sampler, dated 1814; all framed under glass

Condition: Very Good to Good, the 1862 sampler faded and the photo stained; the 1813 sampler having light stains lower right; the 1822 having waviness under glass and slight yellowing; the 1814 linen having some holes; none of the pieces examined out of the frames; overall light wear consistent with normal use
