(5) items including 1613, Basilius Bessler (German 1561-1629) “Geranium Sanguinarium and Geranium Anglicanum” folio copperplate engraving, matted behind acrylic in a wood frame having an acrylic back making visible the text printed en verso, accompanied by invoices from Shapero Gallery, London; and (4) stipple-engraved plates printed in colors and finished by hand (after) Pierre Joseph Redoute (French, 1759-1840) depicting roses, uniformly matted behind glass in gold lacquered frames having text pages from the 1828 octavo edition of “Les Roses” in pockets en versos with a photocopy of the title page
