(2) total items including the proto-Renaissance style depiction of the Madonna and Child surrounded by angels and saints having gilt halos enhanced using chip carving, a peaked top and frame applied to front and probably was the center panel of a triptych, possibly Cretan for the Italian market; together with a Persian Qatar wall mirror having doors decorated with figural miniatures, in a wood frame having micro-mosaic veneer

Condition: overall light to moderate wear consistent with normal use, Italo-Byzantine panel cracked vertically at center and repaired, numerous wood worm holes to verso erupting to painted surface upper left with small losses and cracks, other cracks along framing elements, repairs and inpainting, inspected under UV light, the Qajar mirror cloudy and having spots of desilvering, lifting, cracking and occasional losses to micro-mosaic veneer, overall light to moderate wear consistent with normal use, Italo-Byzantine panel cracked vertically at center and repaired, numerous wood worm holes to verso erupting to painted surface upper left with small losses and cracks, other cracks along framing elements, repairs and inpainting, inspected under UV light, the Qajar mirror cloudy and having spots of desilvering, lifting, cracking and occasional losses to micro-mosaic veneer
