Having 35.625-inch blade with Carl Eickhorn ‘seated squirrel’ mark on ricasso, gilt brass hilt retaining leather buffer pad, having ‘Ges. Gesch.’ stamp, Wehrmacht eagle on langet, florals on guard, backstrap and pommel with wire-wrapped grip; scabbard having black finish and single suspension ring; together with black vinyl sword storage and carry bag

Condition: Good, overall light wear consistent with age and normal use; light scuffs and scratches to blade, nickel plating free of any major rust or deep pitting, scabbard and blade appearing to have slight unevenness, in coinciding areas, more visible in scabbard than blade, consistent with field use, some darkening to hilt overall but most visibly on floral band above grip, scuffs and scratches to scabbard throughout
