19th century, solid wood chest with wrought iron hardware; ‘Wan’ symbol throughout iron panels, hinges and corners; front open, built-in compartment and two small drawers; hand-written Chinese brush ink log on the inside of front panel with dates and events; thick and heavy
Condition: Good, overall moderate wear, chips on iron hardware; some 4-inch to 8-inch horizontal cracks on top and sides; chips on the back; slight warp on inner shelf; missing bar to the front lock
