Boulle Style Clock and Shelf
Louis XV style clock having an arched pediment and figure of Minerva at top; the case having a tortoiseshell style veneer, brass overlay, outlined in gilt figural decoration; an enamel and brass Roman numeral cartouche dial with two winding holes and a figure of Neptune on the glass access door, raised on gilt horses and a shaped base with foliate feet; a sun pendulum; movement accessed at the rear with #1024 stamped on workings; a matching brass overlaid shelf having gilt figurines (12.5-inches tall by 16.5-inches wide by 8.5-inches deep)

Condition: Good, overall moderate wear consistent with normal use and age; 3-inch crack on face of pediment, ebonized scrolls appear to have repainted chips; leaf canopy over dial missing a small screw, a small piece of glass on upper right edge of door cracked off; brass overlays on sides having minor separation at front; inlay under clock brass buckling, missing some inlay; wood on base chipped, scratched and appears to have some repainting; shelf having wear spots from feet of clock, scratching and scuffs; tarnish over all, gilt showing wear over all; no key, clock not working when tested
