Chinese Carved Jadeite Jade and Wood Box
Having slightly raised outer rims on portions where lid fits to base, a 3.25-inch square of semi-transparent white jadeite jade inset into lid of box and intricately carved to depict a dragon within a cartouche atop an integrated filigree style background
Height: 2 5/8 inches, Length: 4 1/4 inches, Width: 4 1/4 inches (box with lid)
Condition: Good, overall light wear consistent with normal use; light dirt accumulation in recessed portions of jadeite jade; 3.5-inch crack across wood portion of lid visible from top, side and underside; no cracks or fractures to jadeite jade carving noted; no cracks to lower portion of box noted
