(5) items depicting various scenes from U.S. history including (2) groups of politicians with documents, a view of Lincoln’s home in Springfield, IL, ‘Old Fort Dearborn’ pencil signed ‘R. Varin’ lower right, #77/125, depicting the fort in Chicago, IL having newer architecture and a steamship in the background; as well as Confederate soldiers opening fire on Ft. Sumter, Charleston Harbor, SC; (3) matted, all behind glass in wood / composite frames

Condition: Very Good to Fair, overall light wear consistent with normal use; larger image of politicians having scuffs, tattered edges and pigment loss throughout; Ft. Sumter having crease through center with (6) tears and light foxing, bottom margin; Lincoln’s home having waviness to paper and foxing across upper and lower left and upper right quadrants; light wear to glass and frames; smaller politician scene frame missing portions of finished surface exposing plaster / composite
