Violin inscribed on inside back ‘Josephus Antonius Stoss 1763’, illegible label attached to inside back, piece of the finger board is broken off (included) near the peg box, three bridges; bow marked H.R.Pfretzschner above frog, with the Pfretzschner crest on frog; together with a leather storage case
Condition: Fair, overall wear to violin, bow and case due to age and use, several cracks on front, a single crack on the back, tailpiece mounting loose, broken strings; bow broken at the tip, bow string frayed; case showing heavy wear
