Japanese Sword Stand and Chinese Sword Assortment
Assembled wood having carved and lacquered dragon and skull motif on both sides of main panel, foliate scrolls on framing elements and triple yin-yang ‘mitsudomoe’ symbols on support brackets, display space for six swords as well as (3) Chinese ‘jian’ swords and scabbards having brass mounts and straight, double-edged engraved blades with central ridges, two set with the ‘Seven Stars’ in openwork brass, in scabbards and an extra scabbard
