Limoges ‘The Kiss of Judas’ Painted Enamel Plaque
Rectangular polychrome painted panel depicting Jesus, Judas, the apostles and Roman soldiers, in a later giltwood frame having velvet and gilt metal liner
Provenance: Collection of Lucy and Stanley Lopata, St. Louis, Missouri; thence by descent

Frame Size: 16 1/2 inches by 12 3/4 inches
Condition: Good, plaque having 2-inch vertical area of loss at lower right corner, cracking and losses at very tip of right corner, repaired V-shaped crack with losses at lower left corner, repaired losses to upper left and right corners, area of loss along top edge at center, (2) areas of loss within center images, 1.5-inch horizontal crack extending from left center edge toward center, crazing overall, plaque loose in frame; light dirt accumulation overall
