(6) items, including restrike etching after Albrecht Durer ‘Melancholia I’, depicting an allegorical scene of a seated female figure in a landscape; (3) engravings after Robert Benard pulled from Diderot and d’Alembert’s ‘Encyclopedie’, each depicting carriage parts and manufacture; a hand-colored engraving ‘A Messieurs les Souscripteurs’, unsigned, depicting a crowd of villagers attacking a partially deflated balloon; and after George Brannon ‘Norris Castle, Isle of Wight’ hand-colored engraving, depicting sailboats on the water before a hilltop castle; all items framed, all under glass except Durer
