1784, signed Stanislaus Augustus Rex below a Latin text and bearing a blind stamped paper seal; addressed to Cardinal Albani from the King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania from 1764 to 1795, and the last monarch of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth; having a rubber stamp reading ‘Casimir Stanczykowski LL. D. Collection Montreal’ lower right corner; floating in an oak double-glass frame

Condition: Very Good, flattened folds; discolored section due to acid migration from the paper seal; a line of text appears to have been excised and the (2) resultant sheets reattached about midpoint; slipped in frame
