Undated, unsigned, depicting a hilly landscape including water and figures, in a gilt gesso frame
Property from: a Lincolnshire, IL collector
Height: 9 1/2 inches, Width: 17 1/2 inches (sight)
Frame Size: 16 inches by 24 1/4 inches
Condition: Good, overall light wear consistent with age and normal use; slightly loose canvas overall; stretcher marks faintly visible throughout; isolated areas of pigment loss, mainly concentrated around bottom, right and top edges, most likely the result of frame friction; areas of fine craquelure without lifting or flaking; 0.5-inch light scratch, lower right quadrant; light dirt accumulation; moderate wear to frame including areas of losses on all sides
