20th century carved wood depiction of Guanyin holding a ruyi scepter and a piece of fruit, having some applied composition details with black, gold and red lacquer decoration; as well as tribal items including an African soapstone carving, a Papua New Guinea pot having two faces and a basketry head-shaped purse having a strap and access through reverse side
Condition: Good, statue having occasional small chips to lacquer and applied decorations, chip to fruit, cracks in wood at back with small losses to lacquer; no damage to tribal items noted; overall light wear consistent with age and normal use
