1874, pair of presentation vases inscribed to painter Maurice Cottier (French, 1822-1881) from the ‘secretary of the painting section’ having gold painted inscription and decoration over lavender glaze, marked ‘Dore a Sevres’ on undersides

Condition: Very Good, no chips or cracks noted; both vases having 0.5-inch round hole drilled into center on bottom; one having pinpoint size paint drips to body
