(11) dolls including a World War I painted composite Liberty Doughboy; (4) c.1920 hollow celluloid having painted features, two marked ‘made in Japan’; (2) having cloth bodies and celluloid heads and dressed as a sailor and a band leader; (2) having paper mache heads with painted faces and hair, cloth bodies, leather arms and floral dresses; one having a bisque head and collar with painted face and hair, bisque forearms, shins and feet with painted shoes and socks, a cloth body and linen and lace dress; and one having a bisque head and collar with painted face and hair, bisque forearms and shins with painted shoes and a cloth body

Condition: Very Good to Good, overall light to moderate wear consistent with normal use; most clothing not removable; not completely examined under clothing; clothing having fading, fraying, staining and areas of tearing overall; Doughboy having cracks and chips with paint loss overall; clothed celluloid doll having detached left arm, fraying to clothing; celluloid doll wearing top hat having pin size holes to body and areas of paint loss; ‘Made in Japan’ celluloid dolls having areas of paint loss to hair; band leader with celluloid head having hole in nose, paint loss to face, dent to back of head, hole in hand, missing shoulder ornamentation; blonde papier mache head doll having tear at right wrist; brunette papier mache head doll having chips with loss to hair area; blonde bisque doll having tears at both knees, staining to body
