(Attributed to) Faberge Spinach Jade Easel Desk Clock
St Petersburg, nephrite jade square frame mounted with gilt silver surrounding a red guilloche enamel square base; swags beneath the clock studded with rose cut diamonds having garnet cabochons at each end and rose cut diamond studded crown over the clock; marked in Cyrlic on back of clock ‘AT’ and kokoshnik mark, back of frame above hinge kokoshnik mark and ‘AT’, below clock ‘CF’, kokoshnik mark, ‘AT’ and ’56’ and easel ‘AT’ and kokoshnik mark; Cyrillic ‘CF’ for Carl Faberge, ‘AT’ could be any of three artists, kokoshnik mark indicating St Petersburg and 916 silver, ’56’ indicating 14k gold
Height: 3 3/4 inches, Width: 3 3/4 inches
Condition: Very Good, light tarnish to the face, decorative border encircling the face and verso, adhesive residue at the upper right corner where the adornment reattached, small natural inclusion at the upper left of the frame but no nicks, chips or cracks; swag missing a diamond; missing key and crystal
