20th century storage chest, paulownia wood, having two large lower drawers and fourteen smaller half-drawers above, painted metal fittings, handwritten paper labels affixed to drawers; provenance: The Golden Triangle, Chicago, purchased 2017
Condition: Good, overall wear consistent with age and normal use, missing handles on right side, damage to wood at lower right edge, loss of paint to metal, scratches and scuffs to surface and discoloration
