Dave Hentzel Rocking Chair and Danish Modern Style Folding Chair
Two items including a walnut and maple rocking chair signed and dated 06/07/02 by Sam Maloof’s apprentice Dave Hentzel on underside of seat, numbered #1255, having pegged wood construction, an asymmetrical back and undulating lines: together with a folding chair in the style of Hans Wegner having a teak frame and woven rope seat and back, from a Palos Heights, Illinois estate
Condition: Very Good to Good, overall light wear consistent with normal use; folding chair having loose rope to upper back corner and scuffs, scratches and nicks to wood particularly around feet; rocker having chip with wood loss and a repaired crack repaired break at left back leg joint attached to rocker piece, spindles loose
