Four acrylic sculptural frames, each containing a number of 19th century prints, including nine lithographs from Vanity Fair’s ‘Men of the Day’ supplement, each depicting a caricature from contemporary society; twelve hand-colored etchings and aquatints after Thomas Rowlandson from ‘The English Dance of Death’, ‘The History of Johnny Quae Genus’ and ‘The Second Tour of Dr. Syntax’, all 1820s; twelve more hand-colored etchings and aquatints after Thomas Rowlandson from ‘The English Dance of Death’, ‘The History of Johnny Quae Genus’ and ‘The Second Tour of Dr. Syntax’ and 1814-1820s; and fifteen lithographs after Thomas Rowlandson from ‘The Tour of Dr. Syntax’, late 19th/early 20th century, each set housed together in a zigzag-shaped acrylic frame; property from a Highland Park, Illinois collector
