18th century hand-colored copper engraving depicting the French colonies briefly involved in John Law’s Mississippi (trading) Company, having an elaborate allegorical scene surrounding the title cartouche to the lower right corner, matted in a burl wood veneer frame under glass, Lee Jackson certificate and receipt en verso; property from a Lake Forest, Illinois collector

Condition: Very Good, discoloration to sheet at upper right corner; some buckling to sheet; accretion to lower left quadrant; ink to lower edge at center; sheet trimmed at lower center; center vertical crease; wear and chips to frame at corners; not examined out of the frame
