(2) total items including the mantel clock having brass and tortoise shell veneers on wood case, ormolu figural finial and mounts including classical style maskettes, Roman numeral enamel cartouche on ormolu dial behind domed glass, two key ports, brass movement marked ‘France’ above stamped ‘Medaille L’Argent 1889’ and ‘1896’, ormolu sun / face pendulum and key present; together with a Taylor & Bligh diminutive brass carriage clock having engine-turned moire panels on back and sides and quartz movement

Condition: overall moderate wear consistent with normal use, something possibly missing from figural finial raised hand, oxidation and wear to metalwork, lifting of brass inlay, occasional losses to tortoise shell veneer throughout, back door panel warped and will not close, movement untested, carriage clock having light wear and not tested
