Undated, unsigned, a female portrait in chiaroscuro style, in a gilded wood frame having a fish-scale design, retaining restoration tag verso
Provenance: attributed to Florence, Italy, c.1630 style of Livio Mehus, restoration by Culicchi Gino, Florence, Italy
Property from: a Private Collector, Lake Zurich, Illinois
Height: 11 5/8 inches, Width: 8 1/4 inches (stretcher)
Frame Size: 17 1/2 inches by 14 1/2 inches
Condition: craquelure overall, some inpainting on the forehead of the figure and at the bottom right, a general darkening of the surface, some paint missing along edges, painting slipped in frame, frame having minor wear
