Violin and Bows in Leather Case

Violin illegibly marked near neck; a bow marked ‘BAUSCH’, a bow marked ‘Adam Heinrich’; ribbon in case lid marked ‘C.W. Engesser, Btry. F, 33rd F.A.’

Condition: Good, moderate wear; some vertical cracks along wood grain, on the left, a 2 1/4′ crack at upper bout, a 3/4′ crack at C-bout, a fine 4′ crack along the tailpiece; on the right, a 1′ fine crack at the waist, two 3-4′ filled saddle crack marks; instrument appears to have been re-finished, showing uneven tarnish, darker near the waist; minor scratches; worn left corner; BAUSCH bow missing an Ebony frog; bows show rust and tarnish on screws; instrument not tested; we cannot guarantee that it will perform musically; not checked for replacement parts
