(5) items including a Hopewell style banded slate ‘pop-eyed’ bird stone accompanied by a note identifying it as being from the collection of Mr. Andrew Weertz, co-owner of the former Ports of Call, Ltd. gallery in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan; a Hopewell style gray slate platform pipe having a plastic display stand; a Mississippian style stone elbow pipe having simple engraved decoration; a Cahokia style knapped chert notched hoe; a fragmentary handle from a Mississippian style stone ‘spud’; together with a Cherokee effigy pipe
Condition: Very Good to Good, spud being fragmentary; gray slate pipe having chip on one end; overall light to moderate wear consistent with normal use
