Cabinet Card Collection with Storage / Magnifier Box
A hinged wood storage box having a magnifying lens in the lid with folding viewing easel within and approximately (125) 6.5 by 4.25-inch cards, mostly from Italian photographic studios including P. Molins, Rome, G. Brogi, Florence and Robert Rive, Naples, depicting architecture, sculpture, paintings and several scenes from Pompei, as well as French views of the destruction at the Place Vendome during the 1871 uprising of the Paris Commune

Condition: overall light wear consistent with normal use, wood box fold down door having split causing it to be stuck closed, a detached piece present, lens loose, cards having warping, toning, occasional edge wear and bumped corners
