(2) items, both of similar form resting on bun feet, hinged lids lined with textured red paper and brass locks, the larger having an inlaid mother of pearl keyhole, the interior having two lidded compartments flanking a circular well for a canister, the smaller having mother of pearl inlays to lid and front, brass wire inlay to front, a brass keyhole escutcheon and opening upon two lidded compartments

Condition: overall light wear consistent with normal use, both having a cracked veneer on lid and lacking keys, the larger having wear and split to paper lining of lid, warped compartment lids and lacking canister, the smaller lacking a divider board between the two compartments
