Empress of Ireland Passenger Trunk
Wicker trunk for household items from ‘Empress on Ireland’ having a wood plaque stating ‘M. Dible(n/y?), Empress of Ireland, Sault Ste. Marie’, leather straps and original hardware with key as well as provenance from researching passenger, possibly M. Dibley from June 25th, 1909 arrival in Quebec; the Empress was later shipwrecked in 1914
