1880, dated and signed lower right, signed again and titled verso, depicting a classical female figure, in a carved wood frame having a brass label
Provenance: This canvas was exhibited at the National Academy of Design Fifty-Fifth Annual Exhibition in 1880. It appeared in the catalogue as no. 388 and listed with a price of $1,200. Thank you to Bob Mueller, former curator of the Salmagundi Club, NY, for the provenance information
