Including a stem cup having underglaze blue figures and pavilion in a garden motif, 6-character Xuande mark within concentric circles in the interior of bowl and retaining a label reading ‘1954 Mostra D’Arte Cinese – Ven.’ within stem referring to the exhibition of Chinese art in Venice and an unmarked mallow-form bowl having underglaze blue phoenix motif decoration overall including underside, retaining a label reading ‘Prof. and Mrs. P. H. Plesch Collection’ on the underside
