Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (French, 1864-1901) ‘Yvette Guilbert vue par Toulouse-Lautrec’ Folio of Prints
Numbered CXLI out of an edition of 150 on grand velin de Rives, text by Claude Roger-Marx, published by Au Pont des Arts, Paris, 1950, containing (62) prints, including (2) restrike lithographs with one in black and white and the other in ‘Lautrec Green’ from the artist original plate of ‘Columbine a Pierrot’ and (30) reproduction prints after Toulouse Lautrec including (3) in color and a separate set of (30) reproduction prints of the same images all in ‘Lautrec Green’, all depicting portraits of the famed actress and singer Yvette Guilbert, both portfolios having original wrappers, chemise and glassine, both in original slipcase; together with Jean Adhemar ‘Toulouse-Lautrec: His Complete Lithographs and Drypoints’ hardcover catalog published by Harry N. Abrams, Inc, New York, 1965
