Theo Tobiasse (Israeli / French, 1927-2012) ‘Song of Songs’ Lithograph Portfolio

c.1975, each pencil signed lower right, (12) undated color lithographs comprising entire ‘Song of Songs of King Solomon’ portfolio, Arches paper series, including (11) #191/200 lower left and image #12 marked #183/200 lower left, all laid to sheet-sized paperboard and having a layer of transparent plastic wrapped across image, folding over each edge, all unframed

Height: 30 inches, Width: 22 inches (sheets (both landscape and portrait sheet orientations))

Condition: Good to Fair, overall light to moderate wear consistent with age and substrate, all paperboards having light to moderate concave warps, most having breaks in protective plastic at corners resulting in minor bends and creases to corners throughout with accretions to margins emanating from opened corners, light to moderate toning throughout, most visible on margins, some instances of pigment transfer from adhering to inner side of plastic and subsequently re-deposited from age / friction, actual printed areas in very good condition, lacking any noted creases, holes, tears or stains, light dirt accumulation concentrated on margins throughout
