World War II German Army Lion Head Sword by Eickhorn
Having 33.5-inch blade with Carl Eickhorn ‘seated squirrel’ mark on ricasso, gilt brass hilt having ‘Ges. Gesch.’ stamp, Wehrmacht eagle on langet, florals on guard and backstrap, wire-wrapped grip with lion / panther head pommel having faceted red stone eyes, scabbard having black finish and single suspension ring

Length: 39 1/4 inches (including scabbard)
Condition: Good, overall light wear consistent with age and normal use, blade having light scuffs and scratches, nickel plating free of any major rust or deep pitting, hilt lacking buffer pad, guard slightly loose, scabbard having areas of finish loss throughout
