World War II German Army Lion Head Sword by Holler
Having 29.25-inch blade with ‘F.W. Holler Solingen’ within an oval ribbon around thermometer mark on ricasso, gilt brass hilt retaining leather buffer pad, Wehrmacht eagle on langet, florals on guard and backstrap, wire-wrapped grip with lion / panther head pommel having faceted red stone eyes; fabric and metallic threaded portepee; scabbard having black finish and single suspension ring

Length: 34 3/4 inches (including scabbard)
Condition: Good, overall light wear consistent with age and normal use, blade having occasional light scuffs, scratches and areas of light surface discoloration, nickel plating free of any major rust or deep pitting, some darkening to hilt throughout; wear to portepee including areas of loose or missing threading; scuffs and scratches to scabbard throughout
