World War II German Army Lion Head Sword by Klaas
Having a 33.75-inch blade with ‘Robert Klaas Solingen’ and ‘kissing cranes’ mark on ricasso, gilt brass hilt retaining leather buffer pad, Wehrmacht eagle on langet, florals on guard and backstrap, wire-wrapped grip with lion / panther head pommel having faceted red stone eyes, scabbard having black finish and single suspension ring

Length: 40 3/4 inches (including scabbard)
Condition: Very Good, overall light wear consistent with normal use, occasional light scuffs, scratches and areas of surface discoloration, blade free of any major rust or deep pitting, floral band above grip slightly loose, occasional areas of darkening to gilt finish throughout hilt, scabbard having scuffs and scratches throughout but maintaining majority of black finish
