Meiji plum vase having flower and leaf decoration in relief consisting of convexly overfilled cloisons or cells; the ‘musen’ wireless enamel over ginbari foil ground showing as blue fading to silver; having unidentified incised mark on silver underside
Height: 10 1/8 inches, Diameter: 4 1/4 inches
Condition: Good, (2) 0.5-inch chips to enamel in green of foliage at shoulder and (1) at mid-body, which reveal the surface texture of body; (4) short stable hairline cracks to wireless enamel area having discoloration; unknown mark but acid tested as silver, purity unknown
