(Attributed to) Shepard Hardware ‘Leap-Frog’ Mechanical Cast Iron Bank
c.1890, Buffalo, New York, depicting two boys playing a game of leapfrog, place a coin in the slot atop the tree, set the standing boy behind the kneeling boy and pull the lever, the boy leapfrogs over the kneeling boy, hits a lever and the coin is released into the tree
Height: 4 7/8 inches, Width: 7 1/2 inches, Depth: 4 inches
Condition: Very Good, appears to have been painted; overall light wear consistent with normal use, minor paint loss, working when tested
