c.1875 De Morgan Tileworks Chelsea period glazed terracotta tile depicting a purple and yellow thistle surrounded by greenery and having maker stamp en verso, in a wood frame; together with eight Venetian ceramic tiles depicting animals, botanical themes and mythical images mounted on board and framed in wood
Height: 6 inches, Width: 6 inches (De Morgan Tile)
Frame Size: 7 1/2 inches by 7 1/2 inches
Condition: Very Good to Good, no chips or cracks noted; frames having light nicks, scuffs and scratches; two pieces missing from frame surrounding Venetian tiles
