St Petersburg, gilt silver mounted lapis lazuli clock with a rose cut diamond studded ‘A III’ over a yellow guilloche enamel ground; on fluted bun feet; Cyrillic markings on back of clock ‘FA’, kokoshnik mark and ‘Faberge’ and underside of base ‘FA’, kokoshnik mark and ‘CF’; ‘FA’ for Fedor Afanassiev, kokoshnik mark indicating St Petersburg and 916 silver and ‘CF’ for Carl Faberge; with key
Height: 5 inches, Width: 4 3/4 inches, Depth: 1 3/4 inches
Condition: Very Good, clock face a bit askew, light tarnish to the helmet in the crest below, slight irregularity to the guilloche at left edge; two spots of adhesive residue from tape on the verso of the lapis; missing crystal
