Central American Mola Textile Assortment
(41) examples of hand pieced pictorial textiles from the Kuna people of Panama and Ecuador including (2) pillows, (4) unmounted textiles, (6) mounted to plywood boards, (10) mounted to board and having open acrylic frames and (19) mounted to canvas covered boards; together with a 1977 poster from a show of molas at the Rautenstrauch-Joest Museum, Cologne, Germany and (2) fragments of Coptic weaving

Condition: Very Good to Good, textiles having surface wear; occasional wear-through, discoloration and fading; light to moderate dirt accumulation; scratches and wear to acrylic frames, some of which show evidence of fire damage; (3) frames broken with losses; poster wrinkled and mounted to foam-core backing; overall light to heavy wear consistent with normal use
