Chinese Gilt Sandstone Buddha Head on Marble Plinth
20th century red sandstone head of Buddha having gold leaf applied to its face and ears, mounted to a marble plinth; wired as a lamp; together with a Chinese Han Dynasty Style Bronze Lamp and Figurine Assortment, Lamp having a patinated copper alloy depicting a person riding the back of a phoenix with a shade depicting a sacred mountain that would rest on a platform supported by the phoenix; an archaic script inscription on the phoenix back as well as two figurines including a painted terracotta tomb attendant and Mingqi duck; together with a Chinese Song Style Dragon Candle Stand, Trumpet shaped stoneware candle stand having applied relief dragon under a brown glaze; together with a 20th century lacquered papier mache jar having a floral panel
