Cobalt Blue Stoneware Bowls
Two salt glaze spouted bowls having blue slip decoration, the larger having closed ‘ear’ handles and having an impressed ‘1 1/2’ below one of the handles
Condition: Very Good, glaze flaws and surface irregularities typical of these wares; minor chips to rim of larger bowl, one at spout accompanied by a short crack; expansion cracks on underside of smaller bowl; overall light wear consistent with age and normal use; please note: this lot came from a smoking house and a slight odor may be present
