Two examples of salt glaze crockery having blue slip decoration, including a jug having a linear design surrounding the numeral ‘2’ and a pitcher having foliate decoration
Condition: Very Good, glaze flaws and surface irregularities typical of these wares; the pitcher having a chip to the foot and a stable hairline; jug chipped at the lip and on the handle; overall light wear consistent with age and normal use; please note: this lot came from a smoking house and a slight odor may be present
