Salt glazed and cobalt slip-trail decorated cylindrical crocks having applied lug handles and rounded rims including a five-gallon crock stamped ‘E. & L. P. Norton BENNINGTON, VT 5’ and a three-gallon crock stamped ‘J. Norton & CO. BENNINGTON, VT 3’
Condition: Very Good, glaze flaws and surface irregularities typical of these wares; chips to underside near edge of five-gallon crock; no other chips or cracks noted; overall light wear consistent with age and normal use; please note: this lot came from a smoking house and a slight odor may be present
