Stoneware Spittoon and Lidded Crock
Salt glazed and cobalt slip decorated butter crock having its lid and a spittoon stamped ‘2’
Condition: Very Good, glaze flaws and surface irregularities typical to these wares; a chip to the oval opening on the side of the spittoon; chips to underside and handle of lid and inner rim of crock; no cracks noted; overall light wear consistent with age and normal use; please note: this lot came from a smoking house and a slight odor may be present
