c.1875, Franklin Woodworth Pottery, Burlington, VT, six-gallon churn with applied lug handles and a large slip-trailed design of a running deer; provenance: The Sanctuary Antique Center, Marion, Iowa May 31, 2014 (original invoice included)
Condition: Very Good, chips in and around rim and handle; overall light wear consistent with age and normal use; no lid or dasher; please note: this lot came from a smoking house and a slight odor may be present
