19th Century, attributed to Harris & Co., Boston; having a full bodied molded sheet copper and zinc head, well executed detail on the head and legs having gold leaf and some aged surface with verdigris; mounted on a contemporary metal stand; provenance: Michael W. Whittemore, Punta GOrda, Florida, March 9, 2013 (original invoice included)
Condition: Good, light to moderate wear overall, a few minor dents and several crack lines, most notable on the legs; wear consistent with age and normal use; please note: this lot came from a smoking house and a slight odor may be present
